It is natural for Mega-Float to receive wave forces, as it floats on the sea. Many of you might be afraid of sea-sick caused by pitching and rolling of Mega-Float. But it doesn't pitch and roll, since it is "mega" (very large) as the name says. Generally you may have experienced that larger ship showed less pitch and roll than smaller one. This is because ,the larger floating structure receiving the more numbers of waves, forces to lift up and forces to pull down cancel each other. Therefore no heaving nor rotation (pitch and roll) occurs at Mega-Float.

Then, doesn't Mega-Float move at all by wave forces? No, it trembles slightly, although you might not feel it. Mega-Float is flexible like spring, as it is made of steel. Wave is a phenomenon of sea water vibrating. The vibration of sea water is transmitted to Mega-Float, and it vibrates as response. Just like a skyscraper absorbs seismic energy by its flexibility, Mega-Float absorbs the energy of waves by its flexibility. Although the principle is not quite new, it was impossible to analyze the behavior of Mega-Float correctly, because influence of sea water makes it much more complicated. And, inputting many our workloads to the development of analyzing technology of "hydro-elastic motion of Mega-Float", we have been able to analyze it as large as an international airport having 4000m long runways. The drawing below is an example of calculation of hydro-elastic motion. And also the influence of breakwater is considered and shown there.
