Plankton Phytoplanktons cease their photosynthesis in the shade zone under the floating structure and recover the activity after passing through it in the current and they never die out. Therefore, there are almost no impacts on zooplanktons which feed on phytoplanktons then there are little impacts on the ecosystem.
